こんばんは! Today I went to Orchard because I have my 2nd Japanese language class.
I alighted at Somerset MRT station and went to The Centrepoint. I went to Harvey Norman in hope to find a portable mobile charger because I have some vouchers on hand. Mine spoiled!!!! It was my second one!!! 😦 Fortunately I used Twitter less and texted more when I was out and my battery is less than half drained when I got home.
The plan was to meet Angel at 11am so we could have lunch together. I reached rather punctually but of course she was late… and I just wandered around.
Went to Ngee Ann City and tried looking for Marmalade Toast. I looked and looked at the directory but the shop was situated at a very awkward location and I couldn’t figure out how to get there. It was outside. -_- Their breakfast is served till 11am. 😦
Sat a bench outside the food village (?) thingy while texting. Then finally she arrived at Orchard MRT station and I had to walk there 😦 We didn’t know where we would like to have our lunch at… Then I thought of Robert Timms as I walked past it earlier on when walking towards Ngee Ann City.
Walked to Wheelock Place and got a table at The House of Robert Timms.
I ate there once and ordered The Big Bang. It was good but the serving was too large, even I, someone with an unlimited stomach capacity, couldn’t empty the plate. So this time round I made sure not to pick that.
Water! Is this a habit I’m developing? The not-patient-enough-to-wait-for-food-so-I-take-a-photo-of-water-! habit?
The bratwurst sausage and scrambled eggs croissant!
Ah, there’s a hole in my scrambled eggs 😦
And as you can see, Angel ordered the same thing!
Another picture because I couldn’t decide which photo I like more out of the many photos of the same item at different angles *acts artistic*
So, what I ordered was really tasty!! And it cost only $10.90, which I find reasonably affordable for the quantity and quality. It is under the All Day Breakfast category so YAY!!!
Let’s start with the bratwurst sausage. It is truly delicious! The meat was flavourful and biting into it gives you a happy feeling, erm maybe not you but me. Like, YOU’RE EATING SAUSAGE! SURPRISE!! 😀
The scrambled eggs tasted quite plain but it felt good in the mouth and was yummy! 🙂
The croissant, like others, was messy to eat but it was good although not very fluffy. I liked how the egg juice (zzzz juice?!) stained the pastry’s innards 😀 wtf why do I use juice to describe liquid egg?
The baked beans were mildly sweet 😀 vurry yumssss 😀 😀 Fart food is love. Hahaha
The baked tomato is a little too soft 😦 But it still tastes ok
The other vegetables were really fresh and crunchy 😀
Overall, this meal is AWESOME! 😀
I would’ve ordered coffee, because I think they do latte art from the menu, if I had more cash with me.
I would go back again for another meal next time if I don’t know where I want to dine at.
Angel left a huge portion of food uneaten!!! HOLY MAMA HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?? O.O
All the vegetables were just left there, unwanted. I don’t understand people who don’t like or don’t eat vegetables leh. They’re so yummy. Unless it is bittergourd or something funky, there is no reason to not like vegetables. They have feelings too, you know?
“Hi, I am Wood.” LOL hahahahahahhaha
Sat there for a post-meal chat and at 2pm we paid for our food. Walked to Forum the Shopping Mall because Angel wanted to go there. Weird. Then at 2.20pm we parted and I walked over to Delfi Orchard, went to the toilet, then to class. When I entered, I looked at everyone to check that I’ve not entered the wrong class. Everyone stared at me 😦 I so shy.
Ms Namba was taking the class today and she taught us what we’ve already learnt last lesson 😦 and some new stuff. So sian. She taught with a sequence so I guess that’s good, and clearer. But I like Ms Nakaya! Her English is much cuter. I’m sorry for enjoying such weird unenjoyable things but yea you should know I’m weird.
Ms Namba made the class read and read the same sentence with different topic and place/purpose about 1000 times OMG! And she encouraged more interactions.
MY NAME IN JAPANESE IS ケーシヤ!!! ^_^
You can call me ケーシヤさん 😉 hahahahahahhaha
We were dismissed early cos she finished teaching early. We got shukudai again! 😦
Went towards the bus stop opposite Grand Hyatt to wait for mummy to pick me up.
I bought 2 macarons on the way, bye my lovely $5.
Hazelnut and feuilletine whatever that is…
Both tasted nice but I prefered that feuilletine one. The feuilletine was like a non-macaron macaron wtf. It was so cold, the box had a mini condensation where it was placed at. And when I bit into it, it was as though I was eating a tough chocolate fudge cake. Zzzzzzzzz but it was nicely chocolatey so I like. The hazelnut was like a macaron macaron. Ya. The foot isn’t big enough to satisfy my eyes zzzzzz.
And now, for the second part of my blog title!
COSMIC radiance is the latest fragrance by Britney Spears!
I received a letter from Seventeen magazine a few days back notifying me that I’ve won a bottle of COSMIC radiance 😀 Mummy helped me to collect it today.
The bottle had a similar look to her previous fragrance, 2 surfaces having gems all over. I think the gems look really cheapo and sad.
The scent however, is so lovely! 🙂
It smells floral and sweet. And young. I have no idea how I smell it as YOUNG but if you were to smell it you wouldn’t think it was on an old lady or a middle-aged woman. Ya…
My Nina by Nina Ricci perfume, when compared to COSMIC radiance, smells so old. 😦
But I like them both 🙂 I seldom use perfume though… Perhaps I should start.
So if you are looking to get a new fragrance you may want to consider getting this (because it is really nice)(I’m not paid for advertising :() or you could get one as a Christmas gift for a girl. Anything.
Yesterday I was thinking of making a mini macro studio but then I didn’t have an external light source so I put away that idea (temporarily). But I cheat a free mini (really not big enough) macro studio with just one item hahahaha. The result is photos looking like the above two, which isn’t good enough. Ok whatever.
